Comfort Tip Contact Post for DogWatch®, PetSafe®, Invisible Fence®, and Perimeter® Hidden Fences

This is for 1 SET of Comfort Tip Contact Post (you pick the size).
The Perimeter Technologies® Comfort Contacts cushion your dog’s neck with soft rubber. Comfort Contacts are manufactured in a  special process that integrates the rubber with a conductive material yet retains the comfort of flexible contacts. It is important to replace these tips every 3-6 months as they lose conductivity over time.

  • Patented soft rubber Comfort Contacts

SM (1/2″ in length) are recommended for dogs with short hair and thinner coats such as: Papillons, Boston Terriers, Jack Russells, Vizslas, King Charles Spaniel

Med (5/8″ in length) are recommended for dogs with medium skin thickness and medium length coats such as: Great Danes, Pomeranians, Rottweilers, Corgis

Large (3/4″ in length) are recommended for dogs with long hair and thick skin such as: Golden Retrievers, Collies, German Shepherds, Huskies

To install: Hand tighten and then use pliers or wrench to finish tightening prong, but DO NOT over tighten (force it to turn) as you will snap the contact off leaving the screw part in your receiver.

The tips stain my pet’s fur black

Other than the staining, these are fine. But I have a white dog who now has black on his neck that is very hard to clean off.

Didn’t fit my Petsafe collar

These didn’t fit my Petsafe collar. I contacted seller twice to get return authorization, but received no answer, so I shipped the points back to them. I’m waiting to hear if they received it and refunded my money.
